I begin each day with our Father. I read the Bible and then I write to our Father, just in case he doesn't know what I'm up to and would like to hear from me. I have done this for years and I believe it is such a valuable thing to do that I tell everyone to do it. Most people have no clue what I'm talking about so this morning I thought I would be brave and share what I wrote today.

Here goes:

Dear Abba Father Jesus,

Thank you for a New Day - (often when I write I feel what I perceive to me our Lord speaking to me, this morning I heard this)

"Trust me my daughter - know that I love you - know that I will never leave you - Look back on your life and see that all worked for good - I favor you my child, seek joy, seek peace, seek happiness and trust me to do the rest. Now go and have a beautiful New Day."

I love you Father I thank you for all my blessings. I thank you for all that bring love and joy into my life. Father I thank you for all that bring comfort into my life - the thousands of people that labor to enhance my life in so many ways.

Father may I please you - May I make you proud and may I bring you to all I touch and may my love for you grow with each New Day.

Love,

Your Daughter Beth

So now you know what a gratitude letter may look like. This was my letter for today. Each letter is different, some are very long some are not. Some times I feel God's spirit and hear him speak to me some times I don't. Years ago a dear friend asked me if he could read some of my books and I was hesitant to share them because he is very formal with our Lord. I on the other hand feel he knows my heart so I always speak my mind to him.  For instance I don't understand a lot of what he does, like recently a friend lost her 56 year old husband, he just dropped dead. Now I had to to ask our Father why a loving Father would do that to his child. I got no answer! I do know one of these days it will all be clear and I do know without question that he loves us all.

I did let my friend read of few of my books... and now he writes a gratitude letter every day.

May you have a blessed day and try writing to God it just may change your life for the better.
