It's not all gloom and doom

In todays market it is sometimes hard to keep your chin up. Everyday the news tell us how awful it is out there. I know times have changed but I do not think that it is all gloom and doom. It is a great time to be in real estate. Wether you are a buyer, seller or an investor. Things are happening.  Working in the Atlanta/West Georgia market I am thankful that we have not had to deal with hurricanes and wildfires. We have had to deal with a shake-up in the mortgage industry. That has been our challange. FHA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have instituted several new programs. There are several new 100% loan programs avaliable. I think now is a great time to buy. First timers can now get a home that may need some work done to it where in the past that home may not have passed an FHA Appraisel. FHA offers two loan programs where the buyer can access funds (up to $35,000) to rehab a property.  HUD is offering a $100 downpayment program.
