White Mountain Market Update
2007 was a challenging real estate market. Year to year property sales in the area were down approximately 21%, while prices dropped on average only between 2-3%. Single Family & Vacation Homes took the largest hit on prices, while Upscale Retirement Properties held their own. Condominium unit sales dropped off across the board, with the only demand being at the very high-end and low-end. We are forecasting 2008 will see another 2-3% decrease in prices, accompanied by an increase in units sold by the Summer.
