I became a Realtor because it is in my blood.  My dad is a home flipper in the midwest and my brother is a custom home builder in the midwest also.

I stay a Realtor because it is my high.  I love it.  I love building my business, looking for leads, working with people and believe it or not, the paperwork.  I really do dislike showing homes but that is something that I am working towards getting out of and getting a buyer's agent to do.  It just seems like a waste of my time.

My dad's been in the business since 1978 and he showed me the way out of corporate America!  For which I thank him EVERY day.

I stay a Realtor because I think it's the last true bastion of entrepreneur spirit in America.  I have a chance to change lives in a positive way.  Also have a unique opportunity to witness in my car on occasion!  And I had a client who named her daughter after me-where else would you get that kind of high?

I became a realtor to keep another lady from going thru school on her own.  I worked a full time job and we went to school nights. Needless to say, she doesn't sell real estate any more and I'm still going. 

Wasn't Monica cute with all that hair?  I'm lucky just to have any!

The flexible hours are good, and when there's business the money is great!  I have no capital outlay, I do not have buy inventory that spoils, I am accountable to myself, I am brokering someone else's possession, and if itr doesn't sell..I am not out of pocket except for ads. It doesn't get any better than this!
