East Nashville is truly southern living at its best. Directly across the Cumberland River from downtown is a laid back enclave of local bars, fresh restaurants, coffee shops and funky boutiques. Citizens take special delight in a highly acclaimed walkability strip known as Five Points, multiple neighborhood parks, and the tasty eateries along Eastland Avenue. Many properties, dating back to the early 1900s, are being preserved and renovated by young families attracted to the area. It's a community becoming increasingly culturally diverse, notably for minority groups and environmental efforts. Luckily, there's an adorable yellow cottage waiting for an admiring buyer!
