Listed on the National Register of Historic Homes, Druid Hills was one of the first neighborhoods in Atlanta. The community was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, who also designed Central Park in New York.

Great info on this area of Ga. You mentioned Emory University. My husband had surgery at Emory University hospital back in October. On the drive there from Jefferson, Ga. I fell in love with some of the older homes in route to the hospital. Breathtaking!!
