My residential listing located at 112 Shady Oaks Lane, in the Echols Acres Subdivision, Lewisburg WV,  has been SOLD.  We received a solid contract the second week it was on the market.  It was an estate sale, and all proceeds were to go to the deceased widow’s two children.  The closing for the house was delayed because one of the heirs, the son, died suddenly of a massive heart attack.  This was the first time I’ve had to deal with a transaction where one of the heirs died.  It was a very sad day for the sellers and me.  

The new owners were very nice and said at closing that even though this house was built in 1972, it has a good solid structure and was a well built house.

They will enjoy one level living in this 1972 all-brick, ranch house with 1511 SF, a full, unfinished basement on a level 0.64 acres, and an over-sized 2-car garage. The new owners remarked that they are looking forward to doing some renovations before moving in.

The house listed at $189,000 and sold for $175,000.


Echol Acres Subdivision is a small, quiet community located off of Route 219 North of the “Coolest Small Town in America”, Lewisburg, WV.  Only three miles from Interstate 64, and less than five minutes from the Greenbrier Valley Airport.
