I like them both.  If I had to pick one, I'd say the black and white.  Very cool.  :)

Christiansens, thank you!  I too liked the Black and White a little better.

My favorite is the original. I think it has so much more character and punch than the black and white. I love the picture either way.

Hi Tony and Darcy, although they are both very complimentary to the landscape, I prefer

THE ORIGINAL as it shows the true color of the" rocks" in your area.

Have a fabulous weekend and take loads of pictures.

Tony,

I like them both.  Each has their own context and their own mood.  It depends on how I would use them or display them.  Happy Saturday. A

Tony & Darcy,

Depending on the picture frame and how it was displayed, either one would look great to me. However, I'm liking the color photo because the color of the rocks shows the unique charachter associated with the mountans of Utah. Also, I think I'd use the Black & White for a winter scene and the color for spring, summer and fall.

I've always been a fan of black and white photography. I think it is simpler and shows more shadows and highlights than color.

I like them both for very different reasons.  The top color photo provides glorious insight into the magnificent color of Utah rock formations.  BUT the black and white photo transports me to another time, another era, and all the mind stuff that transpired among those rock formations in times past.

Valerie, Thank you!

Fernando, Me too!

Toni, That is a good choice!

Irene, That makes sense!

Sandy, Thank you!  We like it here!

Alexandra, Thank you, that is definately a good way to think about each of them.

Roy, Thank you!

Patricia, Thank you, I like both of them, but I know that I am biased.

Todd, I too like Black & White, but I do like to seek the color variations in the rocks

Myrl, That is sort of the camp that I am in, I like the drama that the Black a& White has, but I also like the variations of colors in the colored photo.
