“Homefinder.com Makeover” – New Look Website and…

 I am ahead of the game, am I qualified for the “Homefinder.com Makeover” contest? I have been thinking about improving my website for a while, finally last month I decided to give my website a new look with the help of Activerain member Tammy Emineth.

The home page of my website now has more pictures and categories with a new domain name WhereToLiveInFlorida.com. It is easier for Consumers to remember the website address and to find properties in six different areas.

Areas that I service in Sarasota County are as follows:

Venice, Sarasota, Osprey, Nokomis, Englewood, and North Port.

Each area will be divided into twelve categories:

Single family homes, condos, mobile homes, vacant land, 55+ communities, bank owned homes, gated communities, golf communities, million dollar luxury listings, waterfront homes, pet friendly communities and short sale properties.

All of the above have an IDX search. Also added was the snapshot monthly market report of Venice Florida. I hope the makeover – new look website will help me to generate more leads.

Since January 2012 I have received many calls from buyers asking me to help them house hunt, and wanted to meet me at my office instead of at a restaurant or meet at the property. I have a home office and it is inconvenient because of the zoning
regulation. I have been thinking about leasing an office space and followed by hiring an assistant.

I had my home office for more than two and half years, I know what I need for the office to run the business as well as the estimated cost. There are so many big and small real estate companies around in Venice Florida. And my business depends on word of mouth, I just need a small office space for meeting buyers and sellers to discuss how I can provide my services to them at their best interest, and write a contract to purchase property or listing their properties for sale.

Always good to review web site and SEO info, all things technical, domain names etc. Just decided to add one that is a little easier to use and to direct my customer to.
