22 Comments on What? You've Never Heard of Cowpie Bingo?
Hi Donna, learn something new every day, this is the 1st time I heard of cowpie bingo. I hope the event will be successful.
Donna, this is too funny but quite the attention getting device :)
Now, Donna. I thought I knew about all the types of Bingo, but Cowpie Bingo is a New one on me. Best Wishes on this Fun Raising Event! It was the BBQ that would get me there in a hurry.
Hi Donna, great title and caught my attendtion and had to find out what cowpie bingo is. The BBQ sounds like a good time, and hope the Rotary has a great turnout.
Now that is something only a farmer could love. Good Luck,
Oh my goodness. You'd think a Texan had heard of Cowpie Bingo, but not this one! What a hoot!!
hahahaha!!! That is a HOOT, Donna! I have never heard of Cowpie bingo- and I grew up with cow farms on either side of my house!
Lol. This is the first time I've heard of this "bingo" too. Although, I sure am familiar with cow pie tossing...that's another story - and fundraising activity. Best of luck with this one and I hope lots of funds are raised...
Hi Donna - Must be something those Texans dragged in with them. Smokin Brew BBQ sounds like a great event - best of luck with the fundraiser.
This is great fun at our Fall Fair, in September...rural locations understand this one! Fun fundraiser, always.
Never heard of Cowpie Bingo. Very funny to think about it, but if you can get enjoyment out of things like this in life, you're not living a day without smiling.
OK folks, remember you don't have to be present to win. You don't even have to be in the same state!
Kwee~ I had never heard of it before either.
Charles~ We are hoping that it's a huge draw to the Smokin' Brew event. I know I'll be there!
Jerry~ Parker is just a "short" drive from San Antonio! Tee hee! Pick up Joni Staples along the way!
Rebecca~ I believe this is the 4th year for the BBQ. There's a lot of planning that goes in to the event. So far, it's been a big hit for us.
Edward & Celia~ You'd be surprised. The "town" folk are pretty excited about it. Rich has sold more than 60 tickets. (We have a total of 2000 to sell.)
Joni~ You're not alone. Jerry Newman hadn't heard of it either!
Jennifer~ I think you should take a drive down to Parker on Labor Day weekend and watch it live and in person!
Debb~ No cowpie tossing for this girl from town!
Dick~ It does sound like something they'd do in Texas, but none of my Texas friends or family have heard of it! Maybe you can carpool with Jennifer to experience this "rural" event!
Li~ I'm glad someone understands!
Chris Ann~ I know people will be laughing and smiling. I've already seen it with the folks that we sell tickets too. I'm sure you even laughed and smiled just reading my post!
Donna, I have never heard of it but it sounds like a fun event to watch.
Debbie~ I'll be there to cheer on the cow!
Oh my goodness, Donna. That is so funny. I never heard of that. Sounds like a great fundraiser.
Oh, and thx for your email. I made the changes. Today, I'm running slow...just exhausted due to excitement earlier in the week + one of my cats woke me up at 4:30 in the morning two nights in a row.
Too, too funny Donna. Love your description of Cowpie Bingo. Yes, I have heard of Cowpie Bingo, but never with your humorous twist. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW My brother, Bob, works on feedlot in west TX and I remember the first tour I had. Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL. I Know about this. I grew up in the Midwest. LOVE IT!!!! Wish I could be there for some BBQ and Brew, too.
Debbie G.~ I finally have a bit of time to sit down and relax in front of the computer today. I'm looking up fun things to do in the area because we are having company at the end of the month. That visit will give me lots of blog fodder! Wahoo!
Mary~ Not very many people have heard of it. You must have grown up in a rural area.
Debbie L.~ Wish you could be here too!
