Quick and Easy Button Design

For about the last six years I have been known in Sandy UT as the Badge and Button Man, my initial self employment when I arrived in the USA for my last great adventure.
In that time I have experimented with various programs for designing buttons ~ some intuitive, some downright cumbersome.
Recently I trialed Build A Button from American Button Machines and have since become a subscriber to their on-line design center.
Backgrounds, Text, Photos and Shapes are all available to me, with lots of control in each. Easy to use, allowing lots of creativity.
Since I produce buttons in three sizes, usually in small quantities, often for myself, even changing on a whim, the quick design capability of Build A Button is ideal for me. The output/storage as either JPEG or pdf is definitely the bee's knees.
Watch for a plethora of political buttons - they are effective advertising.

Good morning Larry. Seems like you have earned a Champion Button Maker Button. Have a great day!
Buttons seem to be a hit, but I haven't worn one in a long time. I have seen them to be collectible though.
Thanks for the info Larry...I bookmarked you and will be looking into some buttons of my own.
Good morning Larry. I really like this. How neat and different. I am a button person and look forward to seeing more.
Randy - making them myself allows me to be whomever I desire..
Winston - my historic collection (mostly political) is growing from examples I have picked uo at auctions, antique fairs and garage sales.
Jeffrey - I use buttons as ice-breakers and ID, among many othe things (eg jam jar lids for gifts, bling for youngsters). I am sure you could think up other uses as well in getting the word out.
Sheila - good to see you are a "button person" too. Being a foreigner I collect from both ends of the historic political spectrum, even noting black humor that appears.
Larry - I am also a button person and have some great collectibles. I used to order buttons but always had to have them custom made. I have not ordered any in several years but I did find a bag of some I used years ago and plan on using them again in the near future as they were sort of timeless.
I have bookmarked this to come back to later. Have a great day!
Barbara - I appreciate your response. Surprised to hear about your button interest and your collection. I use buttons for low cost advertising. I let them do the talking as ice-breakers. I have even offered them as advertising for upcoming open houses (with appropriate photos). I refer to them as my "short, sharp promotions". You might even wear your luxury homes as 3" advertising.
