Could it be the dream is reality and this life is the dream? Probably not. I am not sure I ever dream because I never remember anything....
Richard- your words are always worthy of being placed in a leather bound book. Loved the poem. I often have so many dreams each night it's hard to remember them but my recurring dream is that I can fly...not like Peter Pan but like a helicopter.
Good morning Richard. I knew you were smart, and I now know you are creative too. Wonderful poem and neat post. I bet you will find this home one day, I found mine.
Gary...
Remembering your dreams can offer a lot of insight into your phsyche. I have trained myself to remember, but writing it down really helps a lot. Have a great Sunday!
Kathy...
And doesn't the flying seem normal at the time? I mean, common sense says that you should be freaked out by zooming over the neighborhood, but you just float along like it is no big deal! Thanks my friend.
Good morning Richard,
Your poem is wonderfully written as usual:). Dreams are funny..we all have them..we all wonder why we have reoccurring ones:).
Richard...maybe one day you will walk into this house and say...I need to buy this home...lol
Richard, the dreamy photo is very appropriate for this post. Loved the poem and understand the dream. Wouldn't be surprised to run into you in one of the twisty hallways with the frayed runner.
Dreams are always a sign of something, aren't they Richard. Very nicely stated. You have a knack for putting in to words what so many of us are thinking or have thought about. Great gift.
Dreams are supposed to be from our own experiences. You have certainly seen a lot of houses.
Sheila...
Funny, I thought I would be downsizing! Lol and thanks.
Dorie...
I am actually pretty good at interpreting them. I used to it a lot more so I a little out of practice, but this is definitely a "fulfillment" kind of dream! Thanks my friend.

And then it won't appraise!!! Lol and have a great Sunday.
All may be normal in a dream but never the same and alwyas changing.
I have a few reoccuring dreams also, but usually I would rather not return.
Hi Richard - Thanks for bringing something a little different to us this morning. I wonder how many of us in the business have recurring dreams of surreal houses that seem normal - I know Mary and I do. I'll have to ask some of my associates. And the poem was excellent, as usual, but we expect that from the Poet Laureate of Active Rain.

Richard, the house may represent your life's journey. . and you incessant appetite for learning. .nice poem Richard. .could make a great song
Richard, very nice poem and image. My friend, I see it as you being connected to the universe. The world speaks to you because you view it with awe and appreciation. You are an artist! And, artists, they do dream!
I have a similar dream. Mine is always centers around a huge attic in my home. This attic is full of antique furniture. My job is to pick some of the beautiful antiques to bring down and place in different rooms.
I looked up what it meant on the web and it says the house represents ourselves. So your analogy is almost right go look it up. I think you will find that those things that you find are things that you could use to make your life better.
I too love my dream and I really enjoy walking and looking at all the furnitures there. I look forward to the next one..
WoW! I want that dream! Nice theory about what it might mean too! :)
Love and light,
Laura
