VERSACES FORMER MANSION

Have you bought that winning Powerball Ticket? If you won, would you dream of buying yourself a mansion with the winnings?

Well, start dreaming! Versace's former mansion in South Beach Florida just went on the market. This Miami Beach mansion was the home of the late fashion designer, Gianni Vercase. The price $125 million. With this price tag, it is one of most expensive homes for sale in the United States.

Versace originally bought the property in 1992 for $10 million and invested a considerable amount of money in the property. The mansion is 19,000 square feet and has a beachfront location on famous Ocean Drive.

The mansion is known as "Casa Casuarina". Casa Casuarina sat empty for many years after Versaces death. In the year 2000, it was purchased by entrepreneur Peter Loftin from the Versace family for $19.7 million.

This beautiful mansion sits in the heart of South Beach Miami which is known to be an oasis for the rich and famous.

The property is truly considered as one of a kind created by a genius, a work of art, and a piece of history.
