Our buyer clients are treated by us the way we would want to be treated here on The North Shore of Long Island.
First, we don't just get a call from a potential buyer and start showing...no, no, no.
First things first which means making sure they are QUALIFIED to purchase a house or condo. It doesn't make much sense to start showing houses and then find out the buyer has no funds to begin this process...
Then we ask, are you working with other agents?
During the years we have, unfortunately, found out the hard way that buyers aren't loyal and "use" as many Realtors they deem necessary to get to their goals.
We work hard and spend many many long hours to find our clients the house of their dreams. All we ask in return is for them to sign a Buyer’s Agency Agreement with us so we can be loyal to them, and we deserve the same loyalty in return.
If you are Qualified and you are NOT working with other agents, we can begin the home buying process.
We ask questions, and many of them.
We want to find our buyer clients the house or condo of their dreams and make this a pleasant journey. We want to know what our buyers criteria is with "must haves" and "wishes".
Price, location, condition, style, size of home or condo, garage, basement, room size, property size, age and so on is needed to know before we get started.
Sometimes things change during the search and adjustments have to be made. That's okay, as long as we are on the same page with our clients wants and needs.
We need to know the buyers time-frame for purchasing, if they've seen other properties and if they've made offers on any properties?
We will preview homes for our clients before wasting their time in showing them something we know doesn't meet their criteria.
We will send them ahead of time all the properties we are showing to make sure they are ones that perk our buyer's interest.
We will negotiate in favor of the buyer for best price and terms and give our unbiased assessment of the pros and cons of any property our buyer clients are interested in.
We will provide our professional opinion of the value of the property our buyer client is interested in before they make offer on it.
We will work with our buyer clients any amount of time until they find their dream home.
We will always be ready to communicate with our buyer clients and are never out of reach.

I always tell potential buyer clients that I will work very hard for THEM and that the only thing it will cost them is their loyalty to me. Anything less and it just doesn't work out... for either of us.
Larry & Sheila, it is always best if the buyer is qualified and NOT working with another Realtor. Have had many potential buyers state they were not, until they were ready to write!

People need to understand and appreciate professional Realtors like you. Our time is valuable too and we shouldn't waste our time with tire kickers. People need to understand what it takes to get a mortgage and that's a very good place to start. If they don't have a good Mortgage person who they can trust, their Realtor can recommend and refer the best.
You are successful because you know the ropes and you know what it takes for people to buy property the right way!
