HOW TO CALCULATE CLAY COUNTY FL MILLAGE RATE

Property taxes in Clay County are calculated by assessing the property and multiplying by a millage rate, which can change from year to year. Here are the millage rates in Clay County in 2012.

The millage rate is taxed at $1 for every $1000 of assessed property value. In Florida, the assessed value is reduced by $50,000 if the residence is considered a primary residence.

Multiply your current millage rate by .001 and then multiply that by the assessed value.

If the millage rate is 15.168 x .001 = .015168 x $150,000 assessed value = $2,275.20.
