Spent the weekend with our grandchild, Isaac, in Saugerties New York and got a chance to visit the Farmer's Market.
While I often look to nature for my color inspiration, it's usually non-edibles that pique my aesthetic senses. But, while perusing the produce at the Farmer's Market, I got particularly inspired from these gorgeous cauliflowers-who knew that there are more varieties than the blah and boring beige? And who knew that Saugerties grew more than garlic, for which it is actually famous?
Well, we bought one of each and used them in our stirfry, over rice, and I must say, they tasted as good as they looked. I'm off to get some paint and fabric swatches to create a cauliflower inspired room. Love that purple and apricot together!
