Bank of America Corp is preparing to buy Countrywide Financial Corp, but they may be in for a little more than they expected!  Federal Bankruptcy judges are starting to look more into the business practices of the problem ridden mortgage co.  The latest - Countrywide admitted to not correctly crediting borrowers payments that have been made during the bankruptcy.  They have not been applying them to the pre-bankruptcy debt - PROHIBITED!  If Bank of America moves forward, they may be left with a list of potential legal liabilities from Countrywide. Borrowers are suing in class-action and individual suits for supposed abuse by the company.
