25 Comments on Life is Good When You Can Sing Hallelujah with Jason Castro
Carl & Ceil,
Over the years, Texas has been known to bring out some amazing talent. I'm glad Jason Castro is a native Texas who promotes music and charitable fundraisers that benefits the non-profit organization for child abuse prevention efforts. AND he's only 25 years old!
Thanks!
Hi Patricia,
A real celebrity right there for you to see and meet. I hope you enjoy the show and have a great time.
Isn't America the greatest.
Have a wonderful night right there in Flower Mound Texas.
Best, Clint McKie
Thanks for sharing, Patricia,
It is amazing how talented young people are... even if they don't win American Idol.
Tatyana
I wish I were going to be in Dallas that day, I would join you. It's going to be a great concert!!
Clint,
It is great to know young talent is appreciated. Jason Castro is a true star with a pure heart. Dallas is proud of him!
Tatyana, I think you're absolutely right. You don't have to be the big winner on American Idol to still achieve success and win over the hearts of many who appreciate your talent. Life is Good when there is young talent like Jason Castro!
Hi Joni,
I hope he comes to your area soon. I think you'll enjoy the show!
I think he has amazing eyes too!
Patricia
Yes, he was defiitely memorable, and I loved his version on the ukelele. Reminds me to look up the chords. I just picked up my ukelele (I haven't played since grade school) and this would be a goal to learn.
I hope you will be able to attend the concert.
Have an outstanding week with your camera in hand.
Morning Patricia it is refreshing to hear about Jason. Sounds like a good kid who was raised right sad to say there are those children who is not.
He has a beautiful voice. Thanks for sharing the video and enjoy the concerts.
Pacita,
I think it's great that you picked up the ukulele again. I remember when Herman's Hermits played Mrs. Brown You Have a Lovely Daughter and he strummed the ukulele. That was long before you were born and I remember how happy I was to hear that instrument for the very first time. The ukulele has a sound that's very joyful and fun to listen to.
Goold for you!!!
Roy,,
I hope I can make it too! I sold a listing to a nice couple in Wylie about a year ago. I think I'll give them a call to see if they want to join me. I haven't been to a concert in years! Plus, it would be great to see them again.
Supporting young talented professionals is something all of us should do and I need to do that more!
James,
Everyone makes choices. I would like to believe Holmes parents raised him right in San Diego and somewhere along the way, he went to the dark side. Now, he will live out the rest of his life paying for his crime.
Jason Castro turned out good and I respect him as a young professional musician and artist. You can use your creativity to inspire others and Jason is doing that plus he is involved in giving back to the community supporting abused children and other charitable events. To think he's only 25 years old - isn't that swell!
I think this would be a great concert for parents to take their children to too!
Good Morning Peggy,
Many young people taste success and spend the most time chasing dreams and following a road that leads to self-destruction.
Not Jason Castro! He was born to parents who immigrated to the United States because they wanted a better life for their children. I applaud Jason's parents too. His benefit concerts can have a tremendous effect on someone's life.
Patricia, Juan was a great contestant in Idol, and loved his music. Did not know he was from Texas!
Joan,
Jason Castro was a good contestant and memorable too. It's nice to know he made an indelible mark on the American people in such a positive way and he's not just another Adam Lambert!
Hello Patricia -- nice way to spotlight Jason Castro's talent and give some additional(and new to me) information on the good things he continues to do. Positive news is always a good thing to hear especially during these sad times.
That is one of many tv shows I have never watched........the whole idol thing, a bit too much for me.
I'm a huge Idol fan and have watched since Season 3. I remember Jason and even voted for him a time or two. What a nice tribute to him!
