A business friendly environment is definitely Greenville’s business. Over the years we’ve seen how Greenville’s economy has developed thanks to the cooperation of the city government and the private sectors. Greenville continues to foster growth and has become a magnet for business.
Greenville’s effort to attract both small local companies and non-local companies are showed in the on-going Iron Yard Labs – a 13 week mentoring program designed to provide education, innovation, capital, and events for the technology and design communities.
Participants from all over the states converged in Greenville for an opportunity to become great companies thru the help of the mentoring program. They will have an opportunity to pitch to investors and venture capitalists after the thirteen week period. The Iron Yard’s objective is to provide them a good start and greatly improve their business chances for success.
Since they will be staying here for the duration of the program, they already have a good glimpse of how living in Greenville feels like. They are already looking forward to start a business here.
So what made Greenville a great place to start a business? In addition to Greenville’s thriving economy, we have a creative work community. We have a diversity of creative entrepreneurs, artists, designers and creators to name a few. Let’s also add convenience. Where else can you find a place where you can walk from your office to have a business lunch or enjoy the view of the waterfalls while you’re heading for work?
Greenville has a small town feel yet it has the amenities of a big city. It has what a person’s top list could be when they’re looking for a place to live: A great place for a professional life and a place where one can enjoy living – living in a great community that offers many things: affordability, good education system, culture, amenities and more. A balance of both gives a high quality of living. And who doesn’t want that?
