Townhouse Living in Monterey Hills

Cabrillo Villas - townhomes in Monterey Hills

Portola Terrace in Monterey Hills

Although condos are more common in the community, there is an option for townhouse living in Monterey Hills.   Monterey Hills is a planned community within the city of Los Angeles with a lot of condominiums but if you would like a townhouse -- there are some options for you.

Why a townhouse?   Well, do you want a private garage?   A bit more space?   More than two bedrooms?   More than two bathrooms?   Maybe a bit more outdoor space?   Maybe a townhouse in Monterey Hills is for you.

With a townhouse in Monterey Hills you get all of the great amenities -- number one on most lists -- location - location - yes, a location so close to Downtown Los Angeles, USC Health Science Campus, Pasadena, the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys and even LA’s Westside makes the area so desirable.  Did I mention relatively easy access to the two Gold Line light rail stations(Highland Park and South Pasadena) --- so 21st century, right?

In Monterey Hills here are your townhome options:   Cabrillo Villas, Chapman Townhomes, Portola Terrace, Marshall Villas, Vallejo Villas, Fremont Villas and Temple Terrace(the only Monterey Hills complex with both townhomes and condos).  Each of these complexes has a pool and spa.

All of the townhomes in Monterey Hills have attached garages(one of the biggest requests).   All are multi-level but there are some floor plans with all of the living on the same level with the garages on a different level.  Most have garages on the lower level with primary living space on one level and bedrooms on another -- of course there are many floor plans available.   Some have small rear yard spaces but you are likely to find at least one outdoor space in the townhomes of Monterey Hills --- and maybe more.

Pamela -- thanks for stopping by and commenting but this is not a listing but an overview of the townhome complexes in Monterey Hills.

Jeffrey -- I find that many people who might want less maintenance than a single family home but who like outdoor space(depending on the community) and a private garage -- like the thought of a townhome.

Good morning Michael -

Townhouse Living in Monterey Hills is very appealing to many. Everyone appreciates an attached garage and the pool looks so very inviting. You would be the Realtor® I would call if I were considering a purchase in the Monterey Hills area.

Michael,  Townhomes are a great way to go.  Typically there is no one living above or below you and you have the garage.  Monterey Hills looks like a great place to call home.

John -- thanks very much and yes, just looking at a pool can be refreshing.

Belinda -- with all of the "stuff" that many have -- having a garage plays an important component in the decision for many to buy a townhome versus a condo.

Hi Michael - There seems to be a nice range of townhome options for people interested in the very convenient and pleasant Monterey Hills area. We have more townhomes here in our area than condos - people prefer the garages and extra space, as well as not having up or down neighbors.
