Real Estate Agent with Green Lion Realty

How can you beat a potential market of 147 million people? That's how many visitors eBay claims to have every month.

Did you know that you no longer have to use the auction format? eBay now gives you the choice of a classified ad as well. It's $150/month.  Here's the link for more information:

There are no value fees or commissions on the sale. You generate leads. In the auction format, the sale is still not a legally binding contract. It's just an offer.

In the ad format, you list the asking price and when buyers fill out a contact form, it is emailed to you.   eBay is just another form of advertising. It doesn't take the place of a Realtor, and Realtors may place their contact information within the ad format classifieds. For more details see:

We have used the auction format and gained several leads. Now we're trying the ad format to see if we can generate some interest in hard to move lots.

I think lots of description, use of color and larger type and several photos helps the ad. You can sell timeshares, land, residential, purchase mortgage notes and more.

Florida is the top land market on eBay right now followed by California and Texas. There are only 55 listings in the land finder for Florida homesites right now. eBay claims more than 55,000 parcels of land have been sold on eBay since they started including real estate.

Only 2017 residential homes are listed. 462 in Florida. There are also guides on buying, selling, financing, staging your home and many ways to search

I think you'll find it and interesting search just poking around.

We have done quite a bit of buying and selling on e-BAY.  Certainly not homes or land although I have looked at them there.  Since AR entered my life, I haven't had much time for e-BAY.  Another fun site that you and others may not have found is  If you ae looking for a vacation, this is worth checking out.  Fiji, Bali, Caribbean?  It's all there.  Again, if you are committed to buying something, you could get "hooked".  So much fun little time!

Dollar for dollar Craigslist can't be beat. It combines ease of use, a lot of traffic, and the perfect price (Free).

Currently I'm conducting a survey to determine the effectiveness of Craigslist in generating leads for Real Estate agents. Although Craigslist is ‘free’ agents spend a lot of time creating classified ads, and manually posting and reposting classified ads to Craigslist.

Please click the link below to fill out a short 5 question survey. Once I receive the results I will share them with everyone. Don't forget to e-mail think link to your associates.
