Roger, Agreed! The BLM travels around the country to create adoption of the wild hoses and burros to keep them from starving, causing damage to the lands and to prevent the spread of disease among them. And yes, I stay my distance when I approach them, they are quick! I created this blog to further spread the word.

Steve, I remember living at Dugway Proving Ground and watching the skyline as the wild horses would run across the open land, kicking up dust as the sun was going down. It was quite a sight! The adoptions will help save the horses and burros from being put down. Of course if I had the room...and the time...
