Brian, I know that I do not know enough to sell a business, and would seek to refer the business to someone better equipped. I will seek out business brokers for such a referral in the future.

Of course, there is a substantial difference between a convenience store for $79,000 and a wholesale bakery for $1 million.
The commissions are double, and the chances of acting for both sides are high, which sometimes just means twice the headaches.
