What Do You Do to De-Stress?
I believe in creative outlets. I believe in bubble baths, too, and reading books, but that's not a photo opportunity. I wanted to share what takes me out of my contracts, negotiatings, and challenges of a work day. I believe everyone can benefit from a "getaway" in their own home and I discovered my need to "doodle" way back in elementary school.
It's still with me today.
I've always done the odd accent piece around the home.
Created paintings for my kids' rooms to match their bedding. (Years ago I made huge cartoon character murals for toddlers!)
I even sold on ebay and craigslist for a while.
Everything from trash cans to wall decor.
Did a few custom rooms for local guest quarters! (Made to match a linen set)
But, as I went full-time in real estate I found I didn't have the time.
My mother reminded me last week while I was venting on the week's challenges, that perhaps I needed to pick up that paintbrush again.
