Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners of the Staging Industry Awards. These awards were a fantastic opportunity for each of you to showcase your work to the public and let them see that you were truly worthy of the nominations by your industry peers. You are all winners as far as I'm concerned. It must have been a very close race as you are all tremendously talented people.
I would like to thank the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) for presenting me with the award of Local Chapter President of the Year. It is truly an honour. This would not have been possible without the interest I have received from RESA members in my area. We have a terrific group so far, and we are continuing to grow. There are another 7 new members attending our next meeting on January 21st. I'm hoping that we will have a few more new faces joining us by the time next week rolls around.
Every member of the Halton & Hamilton-Wentworth Real Estate Staging Association has a lot to contribute to our group. I look forward to what 2008 will bring for us collectively as well as individually. It is wonderful to get together with other home stagers in the area and share ideas and experiences without feeling threatened by the fact that in a sense, we are all competitors. This type of teamwork will help to take our industry to the next level. Thank you RESA for making this possible!
It is a privilege to play a role in the Real Estate Staging Association, although a small one compared to those at the helm. I would like to thank Shell Brodnax for all of her tireless efforts which are adding to the credibility that our industry truly deserves. Also worthy of a big thank you are all of the Board members of the National RESA Office for all of their hard work.
I would like to congratulate all of the other RESA Leadership Award recipients. You are an amazing group and I am very proud to be amongst you.
