I too like day lilies and have many in my garden. I especially like the ever bloomers thye add a lot o cheer.

Lovely! NOTHING is blooming in my yard and I am getting a little frustrated! We have 3 beautiful Crape Myrtles that I am starting to see the buds come out, but I am so excited it is killing me to wait!

Hi Roy, I love day lillies... Mine were looking pretty bad, but we have had rain this week so hopefully they will be a site to see soon.
Always liked the lily's blooms, but my wife doesn't like the plant. So, no lilies in my yard.

I always like those flowers but I did not know until reading your blog that they are daylillies.
Not sure what's blooming in my neighbourhood since I don't have time to stop and smell the roses! Pardon the pun...:)

Thanks for sharing your photographs. Get out and photowalk through your community. The early morning light is great for flower pictures. If the flowers are not blooming, just enjoy the exercise and the beauty of life.

Roy, for a few days each spring, I have beautiful day lilies that my next door neighbor planted when he was a little boy. They are so pretty.

The daylilies in our home garden are now gone for this season.
