OK, I have a Supra Key, I have it programmed into my plam so I can walk up on a home and pop that door and let myself in.

Why do all the REO's have the old combo boxes instead of the supras?  It drives me crazzzzyyyyyyyy.

I know I know, many of the homes need to have access to them by non supra key holders, drop a second box on the place than.

I guess I just want the world to do what I want, when I am the ruler of the world I am going to change a few things.

Take care!

The combo boxes are cheap.  Also it gives easier access to workmen that do not have supra keys.

I agree with you, but many times the asset managers do not want or allow a second lock box. Many of my REO properties are vacant and in rough shape. I would prefer to loose a cheap combo box in the event the owner returns than one of the more expensive ones.

It primarily is so that the REO company can have service people go in and out as well

Robert ~ Our market has started fining agents with those boxes. $200 is the fine. There are so many times the codes are not correct, or the agent cannot be reached. It has dramatically reduced the issues. But I feel your pain!

The biggest problem is that if you want to tour one getting the agent to call you back to give you the code is often difficult.  I understand the reason to keep the expensive Supra off of some of them but when I head to a 600,000+ home that is in good shape then a Supra should be on the door (oh and pictures in the MLS too)

Here in Ct, particularly the Waterbury Board, we are making the change.  I personally like it MUCH MUCH more.  I also like being able to log in and see when the agent was there (and IF they were there).  just my opinion.

Vicky - Your right Cheap is Cheap

Brian - $200 WOW, now that will make my frustration move to laughter

Cindy- Your right maybe fore go the Supra in that fall over shack

Dave - Since we made the move to Supra a couple years ago I have fallen in love, I love checking the action from home, no more picking up cards.

Take care all!
