Park Street Art and Wine Faire 2012
The 28th annual Park Street Art and Wine Faire is coming this weekend. Robb Ratto, executive director of the Park Street Business Association, promises “that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever and it’s free for the whole family.” The Faire will start on Saturday July 28 and Sunday July 29 at 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.
The Park Street Art and Wine Faire covers four blocks of Park Street between Encinal Avenue to Buena Vista Avenue in the heart of the Park Street Business District. There will be over 300 arts, crafts and food booths and fantastic live music on 2 stages.
The Park Street Art and Wine Faire also has a fun kid's area with rides, games, face painting and a kid's petting zoo. You may want to ride your and if you do there is free valet parking available at Alameda Bicycle at 1522 Park Street.
To add to the event many of the locally owned businesses on Park Street will be offering special sales, so be sure to stop into the business which make their home on Park Street. You can buy anything from gorgeous beads at Beads Inspiration to wonderful clothing at Aphrodite’s Closet which is having a 75% off clearance sale. Dog Bone Alley has everything you could want for your pets. Park Street Antiques, 1519 Park Street, is offering 10-15% off purchases of over $25.00.
