Yesterday was spent showing farmhouses in Cullowhee to a family from Florida with an agent from a company I used to work for. Because the family drove a small convertible Toyota, I drove out with the other agent and the family followed. It was pleasant. The other agent used to be our UPS driver when we owned the camping and backpacking store. He and his family were also regular customers that we often had great conversations with so it was like spending time with a buddy.

While the family walked about the various properties, I got busy with the camera. There will be a few photos of mushrooms over the next couple of days but at one of the farmhouses I was taken with this very awesome planter and the green tendrils draping her face. REALTORS are so lucky to get the chance to see how artistic and creative people are with the things they surround themselves with. Sometimes, I think we get to see the very best side of people!

That is a pretty cool planter.  I'm just glad you get to go out in the heat, gnats, ticks etc. Then I get to see all the pictures.  Works for me.  :)

Hi Mona,

You are so right; we as Realtors get to see some very exciting things and take great pictures to share with others. I love how the plant drapes down her face. Thanks for sharing such beauty.

Thanks William. Maybe I should give permission to the listing agent to use this as his main photo? lol.

Leslie, on the flip side...in the winter I get to go into bone cold houses ... you could come with me then, ha ha.

Kristin, you are welcome.

Roger, I'm betting she never has a bad hair day either.

Good morning Mona. I love the picture and your attitude. Nicely done. Why was the other agent going too? Just wondering...

Very neat picture. Great eye for detail. I most likely would have missed that shot amd probably not even noticed the face. :-)

Hi Sheila, for some reason there are still a few agencies in town who insist on "listing agent must accompany".  I don't know why they feel the need to retain that much control when their listings are shown.  In this particular case I didn't mind because the agent would not take any offense if I asked him to wait outside.

It is getting better here.  Not near as many agencies insist on the listing agent accompanying, I think they are waking up to the fact that we are all licensed and are fully capable of making sure the house is secure when we leave.

Pat, that is so nice of you.  I could see this kind of pot sitting up at your place too.

Than,  I'll bet you have a better eye for detail than you give yourself credit for!
