MY NEIGHBOR'S HOME IS BEING RENOVATED
I have been watching with some interest the last few weeks as my neighbor renovates
his home.

The first thing they did was th remove a very large tree and put it on a BARGE and
take it north on the intracoastal waterway.
I am only hoping that the tree was planted somewhere else.
Palm trees were moved to one corner of the yard. I would guess to get them out of the way
from bull-dozers.

I could hear banging and jack hammer noise coming from inside.
I could see that the floor tile and all the dry wall has been removed from the interior.

Then they started on the roof, removing cement tiles obviously that were causing a MAJOR LEAK
that being said and done , a roof over the patio had its tiles removed also.
And then both the area of roof #1 and the patio roof were removed all together.
Look at the photos closely and you can see the demolition.
The swimming pool and spa were also drained.
Work progress daily from 8 a.m. to 4p.m.

MY NEIGHBOR'S HOME IS BEING RENOVATED
The home is direct intracoastal and encompasses the entire point lot.

The cost of the renovation is $$$$$$$
A great investment for this point location in Boca Raton.

I will keep you updated as to the progress.
It is my hope that they have a correct set of bluprints.

I will be giving my neighbor the photos of the demolition and reconstruction.

Hi Irene,
Interesting blow by blow of the deconstruction and reconstruction of the home.
Fun to read.

Good morning Irene. That is some house......and that is some major renovation work. Glad to hear the tree was relocated. Great photos!
What a sensational place to live, right by the intracoastal. Can only imagine the beautiful views and what a pleasure it must be to call this area home!
Hi Irene, WOW that is some renovation on the house....and want to see the finished product for sure.
Captain Wayne, thanks for stopping by. It is a beautiful location. The point lot on the main
intracoastal waterway. It doesn't get any better than that.
Have a great day.
Hi Phil, I am hooked on seeing what is going on . on a daily basis.

Thanks for stopping by Joshua, it is indeed a super location.
Living on the intracoastal, the view is always changing. Different yachts , wave runners
canoes, anything that floats you will likely see go by your door.
Have a great weekend.
Sounds like a possibility of defective drywall maybe..,
Irene, That is not a cheap rennovation! I too hope that they are able to transplant that tree! Great photos, I really like the first one prior to beginning of demolition.
Hi Kevin, I wondered about the dry wall since it has all been removed as well as the floor tile. It could be an issue with
small children.
I will keep you posted on the renovation.
Have a great day.
Hi Tony, the first photo was taken very early in the morning while the intracoastal
waterway was very calm.
As the day progresses the yachts go by and keep the water moving.
Have a great day.
