Motivational Power Quote

The Will to Succeed

“The winner ain’t the one with the fastest car it’s the one

who refuses to lose.”

Dale Earhardt 1951 - 2001, NASCAR Race Car Driver

As I see it . . . . . . .

The will to succeed

The will to succeed makes the difference between being a winner and being close and finishing out of the money.

When you read the biography of the people who have achieved success in the field they all have a common trait they have a deep rooted will to succeed.

As you read their life story successful people what pops off the pages of their stories is they were not overnight successes they worked hard  to achieve a successful outcome. When other people gave up on them they believed in themselves. They keep on pushing themselves forward with a compelling will to succeed

Successful people don’t quit . . . . They have the will to succeed and they stay on purpose to achieve their goals.

The will to succeed becomes your dominating purpose. Your will to succeed will become a driving force in your career. It will keep you on purpose through the ups and downs and the stormy weather in your career.

Sometimes it's hard to stay focused on the road when the economy is so down in certain areas. Although I am not a race car fan I am a football fan and what helps me is remembering our Green Bay Packers under Vince Lombardi and how hard they fought to win and how focused they stayed in the win. Whatever your mantra giving up should not be an option unless you are 6 feet under.

Being innovative, creative, persistent and working hard will make you a winner - even if your car is not the fastest.

Lou- I believe in "where there's a will, there's a way".  I've seen talented people not succeed because they did not want it badly enough.
