4-H Fair In Durham Connecticut Fair Grounds

The 4-H Fair is going to be held at the Durham Fair Grounds this coming weekend.  This is a great opportunity for the whole family to do something together. I don't know if you have ever been to a 4-H Fair, but there is something of interest for everyone in the family.

I don't think that people think of agriculture when they think of Connecticut, but truth be know Connecticut has a number of farms throughout the state, and Middlesex County has many more than people may be aware of.  I live in an area of Middletown that is known as South Farms, and within walking distance of my house there are at least four working farms.

Some of the events and things to do at the 4-H Fair this year include:

• Several Farm Animals
• Art Displays
• Tractor and Animal Pulls
• Kids Barn
• Face Painting
• Magicians
• Farmer Joe's Square Dancing
• Archery
• Live Music

As you can see from the list above there is something for everyone in the family to do.  So plan on visiting the 4-H Fair at the Durham Fair Grounds this coming weekend, and take part in what will be a special experience.
