Donna, I am sure that there are many, many folks on Active Rain who are "glad you're still here" as well. Best of luck on your surgery. Huggs to you...
Donna, You are so strong and we are indeed glad that you are here. I know whatever the future brings it will be fine.
Hi Carolyn~ I keep tearing up about this. I'm so happy to know that I have such a great support network and I truly cannot believe that I survived. I'm a little bit scared about the next surgery, but I'm confident that I need to do it.
Debbie~ It's been a rough day or two remembering last year. I don't remember much after the emergency room. I was out for about 2 weeks. My mom, sister and youngest son came from out of state to visit me and I didn't even know they were here.
Donna - Best wishes, prayers and positive thoughts coming your way as you face this next surgery. Please keep us informed and keep strong.
Wow, I wonder why it is that we all feel the need to prolong a rush to the hospital. But we are truly glad you are here and I will say a pray for you tonight. Good luck
Thankful to have you, Donna! :)
Blessings always,
Laura
Donna - You've come a long way, baby! I'm so glad you are getting better each day:)
Thankful that those dark days are behind you and we can enjoy your presence. And praying for bountiful blessings with the upcoming surgery. Much love and hugs headed your way.
Barbara~ At least this time it will be a planned surgery. No emergencies. Thank you for your prayers. I know they make a difference.
Thank you Charles. It's easier to believe that Sprite and Cheerios can make it all ok.
Thankful to be here, Laura. Thank you.
I have come a long way, Pam. It's almost unbelieveable.
Teral, my sweet friend, it's through the power of prayer that I'm here to tell me story!
Donna, you went through so much, but thankfully survived those 17 weeks. You had the power of prayer from all your friends, and so glad you are here today to talk about it!
Joan~ I'm still amazed by all the people that were praying for me. Friends of friends, friends of family, family of friends...the list seems to be endless.
Hard to believe it was a year ago........that was a tough road you had a head of you once you got out of the hospital. Glad things are going well.
Hi Donna - I didn't know you a year ago (in the AR sense), nor did I know until recently you had been sick - from what I've observed, you're doing a great job managing the trip back to normality and I wish you continued strength and success.
You know that I'm happy that you're here. I wouldn't know what to do without our games and chat time.
Hi, Donna...we will certainly have to talk. I'm glad you are here. I didn't get to know you until after your time in the hospital. I'm glad that turned out OK. I hope I will get to see you when I'm in CO Springs this Thanksgiving, or at the CAR convention. If not we have our own plan for CO AR members.
Roger~ Thanks to all my friends and family and the power of prayer, I'm still here and doing great (all things considered).
Thank you Dick~ Some of the story was shared here on AR while it was happening. Many in my AR family were spreading the word and asking for prayers. I know it made a huge difference in my recovery.
Chris Ann~ Who else would you abuse at Words with Friends?
Debbie~ Someday I'll tell you the story.
