Dancing Starfish

Today, I went by a friend’s house and while leaving I spotted this lovely plant on her porch. She told me it came from a bulb but she did not know its name.

That's a very unusual plant! At first glance it looks like a Morning Glory with giant tentacles. I tried to search pictures of white flowers on Google, but nothing came up even similar.

I think I just found it. . ."Hymenocallis harrisiana." The www.flowershopnetwork.com has a photo of it on the web at: "Night Blooming White Flower."

Sometimes if you find a flower or plant that you can't identify, you can Google "flower + it's color" in the image section of the search engine and eventually find it. When I did this search, I found Kristin's plant among the very first pictures. All I put in was "White Flower."
