The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 30 miles.     It is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community.    It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer.      The Town of Parker is approximately 20 square miles.

Sales for May was 157 properties and increased to 196 properties in June.   These are single family detached homes only.   The days on market were the same as May - 72 days on market.     The average sales price was $346,807 (an increase from $332,437 from May) and sellers got 96.15% to list price.    For June, there were 196 total sales of single detached family homes.   

Sales under $200,000 - 10

Sales from $200,000 to $500,000 - 171

Sales from $500,000+ - 12

The highest priced home sold in the month of June 2012 was $1,600,000 that was a short sale and was located in Rancho Montecito.    This home was built in 2007, has 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a nine car garage and 13,144 total square feet all located on 3.24 acres.

The sale in June showed 9 short sales, 13 bank foreclosures and 15 new builds.

As of today, there are 441 active detached single family homes of which 9 are bank owned,  24 are short sales, and 83 are new builds.    There are 233 showing under contract and 68 pending.
