Mission Viejo Market Report By Tim Lorenz a Mission Viejo Realtor 7/29/2012

This weeks market report for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas from Mission Viejo Realtor shows that Orange County Median Prices for the resale homes were up 4.5 percent, for new homes it is up 6.7 percent and for resale condos up 6.5 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 21.1 percent and up 13.7 percent on condos and down 17.8 percent for new homes.

  • Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 13.0 percent and the sales volume is up 48.1 percent.
  • Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 5.0 percent and the sales volume is up 25.8 percent.
  • Aliso Viejo sales prices are up 1.2 percent and the sales volume is up 24.2 percent.
  • Laguna Niguel sales prices are down 6.1 percent and the sales volume is up 10.4 percent.
  • Rancho Santa Margarita sales prices are up 23.7 percent and the sales volume is up 15.3 percent.
  • San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 21.1 percent and the sales volume is up 18.6 percent.
  • San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 4.8 percent and the sales volume is up 16.7 percent.

 

The market is still increasing.  Look at the sales volume in Mission Viejo. Infact if you were thinking about selling now you are getting much more for the home and the whole market is moving rappidly to a big seller's market.

Tim,

I like how you don't discriminate and you show us where sales are up and where they are down. Being down, doesn't necessarily mean there's something wrong, it just means that must be a very popular place to live and who wouldn't want to live where the Action is at. California is a beautiful place to reside.

May many people get placed in homes they can afford because you are their beacon of light.
