Motivational Power Quote

Success is Not a Sprint

“If you’re not succeeding yet, take heart. As long as you keep trying with persistence and determination there will be a way for you to succeed.”

David Vallieres, Entrepreneur, Internet Marketing

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success is not a sprint

Your success journey will resemble a marathon far more than a sprint.

If you decided to sprint a 26 mile marathon you would not be able to finish the race under those conditions. A marathon has a strategy and it takes determination to go the distances and run the 26 miles.

Your success journey like a marathon requires both a plan and strategy to run the full race and successfully compete it. Your success journey and a marathon will have changing conditions at times you will feel like you’re running uphill against a wall of wind. At other times you will feel that you’re running downhill with the wind at your back.

It takes staying power to go the distances.

The key with both is you have to run the race no matter what the conditions are that your encounter, and you have to keep going and give it your best.

With both you will have bursts of energy and you will feel like you’re in a sprint and your pace will quicken.

Success is not a sprint . . . . Your success journey will require a commitment on your part to stay the course, persistence in your efforts to reach your objectives and the determination to work your way thought any conditions your encounter.

One has to work hard for success - (and some people think, successful people are LUCKY!) True, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon.

Many years ago, I made a decision to run my first marathon. It is a good thing, that I didn't view it as a sprint, as I would never have finisned.
