Well it's safe to say that I can admit defeat. Last week, I got a chance to hang out with Kerrie and Bob and needless to say, Kerrie's passion got the best of me. If you have a chance to watch the episode, feel free to check it out here.
The idea behind these hangouts is to have fun and educational, but we also want to demonstrate a powerful and useful tool Google+ has to offer. It is important to understand that these hangouts should be treated as TV or radio shows and not necessarily something you need to sign up for, but drop in to stay as long as you'd like.
I understand this is different from how webinars or classes usually work, but this is a completely free resource that's fun to watch live, but will always be available to watch later on RealEstate.com's Youtube Channel. Just like any Youtube video, you just have to click to play.
Now this week we're going to be rolling out episode 2. Hopefully this'll be something we can keep going every week but we'll see! Same time, same place.
The Topics
Last week Bob broke down Facebook ads and gave some great ideas how agents could target their audience. After three tries, Kerrie managed to get our lucky winner on the phone for us to give away $100 bucks. We discussed the flowery marketing terms agents use to describe homes and finally, the debate over the age of social media managers.
This week, we're following the same guidelines, but with some fun new topics.
Google+: I get a 5 minute spotlight to break down if you're going to be social, it should be on Google+
What kind of car you drive: Kerrie found a great question for us to discuss which is "Does it matter what kind of car you drive? Do clients judge you depending on it?"
Olympic Tweets: In light of the Olympics, we're going to be discussing the punishment of Greek triple jumper, Voula Papachristou for her controversial Tweet.
