This is one of Ron Marshall’s creations, and I thought it was really amazing. 

 

This is one of the best he has ever done, in my humble opinion, and he has done sooooo many great birdhouses.

 

And, now I will let him tell the story. 

 

Here is the latest creation. And I want to thank ALL of you for your support. This has been the most satisfying “business” I have ever had!

 

Autumn’s Edge started as a Department 56 piece inspired me to create a “house” for it. As it turned out, this ended up being a hobby farm in my mind. But, you can envision whatever you will.

The mailbox, pumpkins, hay bale with cat and corn stalk piece was the start.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, I had to add some detail to the other side, and I found a windchime with the wheelbarrow and trowel for the other side. The little hand-painted birdhouse was given to me by another antique dealer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And, here is what it looks like from the front.

 

 

 

There won't be any other new creations this week. I have to work on ORDERS! Isn't that great? Thanks, again, Dick. Thanks to Barbara, Al, Tammy, and Jill, too!

I subscribe to Google Alerts and I get this?  I suppose this beats the last "Jason Sardi" alert i got involving midget sex and the Lincoln Memorial.

Hell, I liked this one (Ron's Birdhouse) plenty.  I will be a buyer.  I promise you that.  Love the work, effort, and passion.

I love Ron's birdhouse creations.  I have no idea how he can do real estate at the same time, making these delicate pieces that obviously take a lot of time.  I barely have time to do my laundry!

Actually, Jason, Ron thinks that the washer and dryer are in the general vicinity of the basement.  But, since he has only stuck one rug in the dryer in the 15 years we have lived here, I don’t know if he even recalls that!
