Curmudgeonly is the new word of the day.

For the vast majority of you I know you’ve heard this word before but do you know the meaning?  I know you will find this hard to believe but I’ve been called this from time to time but another language was used.  That language is not for the Rain family.  So anyway the meaning of (ker muj’en li) is an ill-mannered, bad-tempered person; cantankerous fellow.

James,

Regretfully, I've had a run in with some curmudgeonly folks lately and they can really drain you putting you on defense if you're not careful. Best to avoid people like that because LIFE IS GOOD and I don't have time for that!

James, big word for NW Arkansas. Here in Southwest FDlorida they would just call a person like that an SOB! Enjoy your day!

I would say that W.C. Fields comes to mind when I hear the term curmudgeon. I think you need to fix your title as the word is missing an R. Hey, don't go all curmudgeonly on me; I didn't type it that way.
