Jax Cash Mob in Springfield Saturday August 4, 2012

Springfield is one of Jacksonville's oldest neighborhoods, home to stately Victorian, new construction, and a mix of other housing as well. The neighborhood is just north of downtown.

In an effort to support local business in Springfield, a Cash Mob is being hosted this Saturday at 11 AM at City Kidz.

This is the third such effort - other cash mobs were in downtown Jax in April and Avondale in May. The idea started with a Cleveland attorney and has spread to seven cities in Florida.
 
There are 3 simple rules if you want to participate:

1. Be at City Kids at 11 AM
2. Spend $10-20 cash at a local store which will be revealed at 11 AM.
3. Meet at least 3 new people

4. Is optional - stay for lunch afterwards at City Kidz at 12:30 PM.
