As a hostess yesterday, my daughter was worked to the gills! She had a great time and a great day. You would enjoy my post about her experience.
I would have to pass on that meal.......I just don't agree with the company combining their business with things that have nothing to do with serving food.
Hi, Leilani - great reporting! The Chick-fil-A in our mall here had a large crowd all day yesterday. There was a camp out at the new one in a nearby city opening today. We're going for an early dinner later, hopefully there's still chicken left. :)
Leilani, I ate there for breakfast yesterday and tried to get in there for lunch but could not and then ate Chick last night at church.
Hi Leilani, I am just curious how the story was reported in your media. I don't watch the evening news so I am curious as well if it was a national story on Wednesday night, or if it will be reported on Friday which is supposed to be the protest/boycott day?

Sharon & Bruce, I didn't watch the local news last night, but Bob had FOX News on last night and of course, both O'Reilly and Hannity had Chick-fil-A segments on their programs. Didn't hear about boycott day on Friday, so we'll be sure to eat at Chick-fil-A again tomorrow to show our non-support of the boycott! ;)

Just thought I'd share an e-mail I received today, in response to this post on the Roseville Chick-fil-A:
Since I don't know who Darren Samuel is, I Googled him and found that the domain name DarrenSamuel.com was registered on May 2, 2011 to Darren Samuel, 3261 Saint Mathews Drive, Sacramento, CA 95821.
According to tax records, Dennis & Frances Samuel (Darren Samuel's parents???) purchased the property on December 29, 2011.
I also found a LinkedIn profile of Darren Samuel at DarrenSamuelDesign.com:
Based on my research about this viewer, I was not able to find any real estate owned by him in California, even though his e-mail states, "...with real estate spanning the Placer County area and beyond." The house he supposedly lives in was recently purchased by his parents (or two people with the same last name). Also, there was no evidence of any Ivy League school that he claims to have attended, unlike his description of himself being "Ivy league-educated". The only school he listed under "Education" was The Art Institute of Seattle. :)
Anyway, discrepancies set aside...here are my answers to his questions:
