The Big Apple Meet-Up: Fun, Fun, Fun!
Yesterday, July 31, we had our “Big Apple Meet-Up" at The Oyster Bar in New York City - the greatest City in the world...IMHO! Roger Mucci did a fantastic job putting it all together and a great time was had by all! The food was wonderful and the company even better.

Phillip Faranda, Ann Costello, Sheila Anderson, Kimberly Tapscott, Elyse Berman, Laura Cerrano, Hillary Shepherd, Roger Mucci
It’s amazing the camaraderie Active Rain fosters and we all felt like one big family, really! Roger is larger than life and hosted a hell of a party. It was so great to see old friends, finally meet some wonderful people I've talked to on the phone and get to know some new faces...
As you can see, Roger is the hit of the party!

I have to give a very special "thank you" to my wonderful husband Marty (second photo over - black shirt) for taking all these photos.....and then some! At one point he had 4 cameras in his hands, taking photos for everyone! I always say, "I am one lucky lady!"
Always the bargain shopper, (seriously, I never pay full price for anything, ever) I saw this dress in the store window and had to try it on. It’s by Calvin Klein on was on sale for $59.99! Perfect ending to a perfect day!
I highly suggest that if you get the chance, go to the next Meet-Up in your area or host one yourself. They are so much fun and it’s like family. I can't wait for the next one!
All in all, this was such a great group of people and everyone had a great time! Nothing like a bunch of Rainers getting together sharing, laughing, eating and drinking - what could be better?! Marty and I had a great afternoon…….and I’m pretty sure everyone else did too!
