Shoreview Towers and Clouds by Teri Eckholm REALTOR

Broadcasting wouldn't be the same in the Minneapolis/St Paul area with out these twin towers in Shoreview, MN. They rise about 1440 feet in the air and help get out the signal for Kare11, WCCO and KSTP in the metro area. Of course they are also a great way to get your sense of direction. When you see the Shoreview towers, you know you cannot be too far from home!

For a minute I thought that was a picture of the towers near Walnut Grove, here in California.  I've never quite understood why in some areas if you see one radio/tv tower, you will nearly always see two.  It seems like just one ought to do it!

Good afternoon Teri. I will always remember first time I ran across high towers. It was March and I found out about ice falling off them. Every car in the parking lot had damage from falling ice. Yikes.

Teri, I love this picture.  I had to read down the page to figure out what it was.

Hi Teri,

I learned something new by reading your article. Interesting that there are two; one FM and one AM. Of course that makes sense too.
