We had a super time as the pictures below and Janis’s great blog reflect. No rain, no storms, no fires to put out...got the afternoon off from my husband/our startup and so enjoyed meeting our 18 Rainmakers in NYC!
Our Tuesday lunch at a seafood hotspot, on July 31st, was a super celebration of Rainmaker connections and support.
Just look ~ with apologies about my poor, pitiful Blackberry pics...the little camera "that thought it could!":
This is Sheila, Kristina and J. Phil from the NY / NJ region -- all fabulous people...hey, it the "Fab trio!" -- like our gold medalist gymnasts in London!
At our table, Laura above has a Fen Shui design company and helps with hoarding, like my company. Elise was back from Florida and helping her mother in Westchester. We're all doggie moms, so we shared phone pics & family photos of our "children with tails" -- who won't need diapers or college funds...fun!
This is Debbie Gartner, our flooring girl, with a Debbie Walsh, who I'd enjoyed in a brief chat at one of our two long tables. That was in the first minutes of our two hour lunch. SHUCKS, I'd set my cards from all our Meetup friends on the table and they did not make it home with me. Let me know if you picked up my pile, for those who were there! :>(
Please send an email with names, if you know those above who's cards are MIA, and I'll re-inscribe!
That's all folks...was taking pics for Roger and others with REAL cameras, so not a lot of shots on my B-berry. So, can't wait to see Kristine's pictures that her husband, Marty, took with his awesome digital.
Cheers to all there and to you Rainmakers who were with us "in spirit." Had a terrific Chardonnay with lunch...hic...up! Some of us stayed and chatted in the Saloon for awhile longer, then beat the rush hour home...almost!
