I can't imagine not having a picture ID, they are so easy to get. No ID no vote period not even a provisional.

Hi Charles...Your opinion, not mine.  People have voted for more than a couple hundred years (at least white men have been allowed to) without picture IDs and our freedoms survived.  People can buy guns without photo IDs.  I think our vote is as sacred as the right to own a gun.

We keep hearing what the Constitution says, well it doesn't say you have to have a photo ID.

If they had proven that it undermined our system to not have photo IDs that would be a different story.  Instead in implementing this and some other restrictions that is exactly what is being done.  That goes against the basic rights given to us.

If you really think that a photo ID can not be falsified you are kidding yourself.  If someone wants to commint voter fraud they will find a way.  They only people that are going to have difficulty voting are honest citizens.  Makes many of us really wonder if that is not the whole purpose of the new laws (restrictions).

Kate, This will be an important issue in the upcoming election. I've read several quotes from politicians who actually admit the new laws are being enacted to limit the number of voters for the opposing party.
