Contractor Learns How to Handwrite on his iPhone
in less than a minute!
As a general contractor it is not always easy using a smart phone while in the middle of something messy. Using the keyboard can be a bit cumbersome when trying to do a Google Search. Google has come up with Handwrite that allows you to use your finger to write on the screen as if you were handwriting a note.
No more hunting a pecking on the little keyboard! It can be used in both the mobile and tablets devices, can be switched off and on with one button, and has the same auto complete functions as the regular Google search. Handwrite is still in the experimental stage.
The set-up is extremely easy and takes less than a minute. Here’s how I set it up using my iPhone.
First, use your phone browser and go to Google.com. The screen should look similar to this photo.
Scroll down and tap on “Settings”
At the next screen find “Handwrite” and “Enable” it.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and save the settings. You will be brought back to the Google Search page, refresh the screen by clicking Google.com again.
You will now see the Handwrite button in the lower right-hand corner.
Now you can write on your screen!
You are done, less than one minute!
If a general contractor can do this in less than a minute, anybody can. J
Give it a try, it’s kinda cool.
To disable Handwrite, just tap the button again.
If you do not want it, go back and “Disable” it in settings.
To enable Handwrite on your tablet, the screenshots will be different but the procedure is the same.
