We in southeastern Pennsylvania have been fortunate enough to have evaded the deep droughts that many in our country have experienced this year...
Having said that, we HAVE experienced some short periods of droughtlike conditions, punctuated by short periods of rain...just enough rain, in fact, to cause almost an INSTANT GREENING of dead looking vegetation...crops, trees, and lawns...!!!
I realized upon watching this phenomenon of mother nature that only THE DEEP ROOTED plants were DROUGHT RESISTANT...seldom losing their glow, their color, their vibrant lives...and yes, even their fruit...!!!
It’s like that in the SPIRITUAL REALM also...The Word Of God reminds us to LAY A GOOD FOUNDATION...set our footings soundly, lower our nets deeply, and plant our seeds on GOOD GROUND...
In business, these same factors apply...If we find ourselves floundering, if we seem to have lost our way, if the road ahead is foggy, if the sands of life appear to be shifting, if what was black and white seems gray...WE ARE NOT DROUGHT RESISTANT...
Two things I know and am certain of...I have been given all I need to establish a sound foundation...AND...UNLESS THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE they labor in vain who build it...!!!
It’s never too late to reseed, replant, or rebuild...!!!
