Hi Debb - Very interesting. Living in a semi-arid climate helps focus one's attention on systems like this. We're always a couple of dry winters away from major water supply problems, and I expect that we'll be seeing widespread use of these in the future.

I do think that at some point it will be the new normal. In a new office park complex in Santa Monica knows as the Water Garden, we placed one of our clients there. One of the positive selling points is that the whole garden and fountains were all fed through recycled water and it was recirculated and filtered. I love all these solutions. A

janeAnne always does a great job promoting new and innovative ways to save the environment resources and this is a great re-blog! I also share in the philosophy that we need to teach the world there's a better, more cost effective way of doing things without wasting water.
