Gaithersburg Flowers:  Photowalking in Kentlands


Real estate professionals should really know about the communities in which they live and work.  One way to know what is happening is to get out and walk through the neighborhoods on a regular basis.  The exercise is good for all of us and the chances are that we will meet some people and have the opportunity to discuss our favorite topic, real estate.

I like to walk through Kentlands and Lakelands in Gaithersburg with my camera in hand.  When you are taking pictures, it is very likely that the residents will speak with you and that is a very simple way to network on a very local basis.  My goals are to get some exercise and escape from the problems of the moment by focusing my attention on the colors of the season.  Any business contacts become a bonus.

At this time of the year, there are flowers to photograph and I am sharing a few of the photographs with you.

If you need a challenge, I challenge you to walk through your own neighborhood and record the images of the season.

Thanks so much for your comments.  Dolores and I spent the day in Wilmington, Delaware.  Excellent day trip destination for us.  We went to the Pennsylvania Fine Craft Fair in the morning and the Delaware Art Museum in the afternoon.

All Realtors should stay busy, just like a busy bee, but they should really take the time out to enjoy life too and what better place to walk than your own neighborhood. As you say, you get to meet people and talk about what you do best. Everybody is interested in what's going on in Real Estate!

Your flowers are just lovely! I love the one with the bee the most! It's a source of inspiration and good energy!
